Yesterday I woke up thinking about the world, and all that’s going on. I also woke up with a scripture on my heart in which I shared it.

This morning I woke up giving thanks, praying for the world, my family, friends, and self. Much like yesterday I woke up with a scripture on my heart.

Psalm 18:9 King James Version (KJV)

He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

In reading this scripture I am reminded of how great God is. That even though it seems like times of uncertainty God remains in control. So much so, that darkness is under his feet.

No matter where we are nor what we’re doing. God is there he knows our thoughts, our words, and the very bit of air that escapes our lungs with each breath we take.

The amazing thing is how even though the world is on lockdown. It has given us the perfect time to sit, reflect, seek, pray, forgive, and seek forgiveness.

I think about the amount of lives which have been lost. I realize that for myself no amount of grudge, discomfort, distance, or thing that happened in the past is worth holding on to.

In my mind the negative things I healed on to are a part of that darkness which God has placed under his feet.

I move forward knowing that God remains in control.
