The Price Of Self Distructtion

We can spend so much of our time focusing on how others perceive us. Often times if we are not deeply rooted we tend to sway gently enough with the wind as we soon find ourselves shifting into what they want us to be.

It’s kind of like the flow of water only much more controlled. People pushing and forcing us into their term of direction. The entire time we can be guided into something we are unfamiliar with.

It becomes a sacrifice as we allow ourselves to easily be consumed by what the world wants us to be. Even if we take a look in the mirror, and see ourselves as a reflection. We can still feel empty with no thought or trace to what’s going on.

What does it take to truly be yourself without any form of influence from the world, the media, those around us and our own inner thoughts.
