Meal Prepped

I have just spent the past three hours meal prepping both my lunch and dinner for the rest of the week.

If I’m going to continue on with this journey I must set myself up for success.

I came across an amazing recipe online from ( #FromMyBowl) and decided to give it a go. I followed her recipe with a few slight changes.

I did not incorporate her suggestion of Asian Slaw, I used frozen broccoli opposed to fresh, topped it with some ginger root, and cilantro.

Her overall idea was amazing however I had a few items I needed to get rid of so figured I would incorporate them.

I also prepped my second meal which is fairly simple. I cooked up some fish, yam, and asparagus this being my lunch for the week.

Boredom Eating

Today I had some much needed time to sit back and relax. Watching television and I realized that I’ve spent so much of my life commiting to boredom eating.

Life is changing and opposed to partaking in boredom eating. I find that I’m able to do other things like listening to music, or watching a good movie.

I find that it’s easier for me to sit back and have a conversation with my mom or study my word. These are just some of the things that are helping me to overcome my past eating addictions.

I’m changing 🙂
